Recipe for cooking ham gumbo

2 c. cooked ham, diced 1 c. green bell pepper, chopped 1 c. chopped onion 1 (10 ounce) pkg. sliced okra 1 (16 ounce) can tomatoes 1 c. chicken stock 1 c. water 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. black pepper 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper 1 c. uncooked rice Combine all ingredients except rice in a large, cast iron skillet; let it come to a boil. Cover and simmer 10 mins. Stir in rice and simmer tightly covered, 20 mins. longer, or until rice is tender.
