Recipes from Cajun Country :: Cajun Vegetable Side Dishes
Serves 6. 2 lbs. cabbage, finely diced 1 lb. bacon, finely chopped 1 med. onion, chopped 2 Tbsp. red pepper flakes 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. black pepper Fry bacon until crisp and bell browned. Add chopped onion and stir until limp or soft. Add pepper flakes, cabbage, salt and pepper. Stirring well until all cabbage is coated. Cover and cook until cabbage is limp or soft and tender.
