Carafes-Types of Carafes. |

Older versions of carafes were made of glass and were normally used to serve wine or other such beverages. Carafes, today are made up of two or three different materials which help in keeping the contents either hot or cold. A wide variety of carafes are available and serve the purpose well. Some of the types are listed below:
Stainless Steel: The outer structure being made of stainless steel and the inner portion of ceramic, ensures that the liquid (either hot or cold) stays that way for a longer period of time.
Glass Carafes: Made entirely of glass, these carafes are ideal for domestic purposes.
Electronic Carafes: Apart from storing and keeping the contents warm or cold these carafes also serve the purpose of a coffee or tea maker. |
