Dry Chicken Recipes

CHICKEN VARUVVAL

Chicken 1 lb
Ginger paste 2 tbsp
Garlic paste 2 tbsp
Onion 2
Tomato 1
Coriander powder 2tsp
Red chilies 6
Garam masala 5 tsp (curry powder)
Turmeric powder 2 tsp
Chicken masala 5 tsp
Curry leaves
Coriander leaves
Salt
Oil
  • Pre heat some oil in a pan add the onion and fried well till it becomes golden brown, then add the red chilies and then add the ginger & garlic paste. Add the curry leaves finally. Then Grind them all well to make a smooth masala.
  • Heat some oil in a pan add the mustard seeds, add the chopped onion, fry them till they turn golden brown.
  • Now add the chopped tomatoes, fry them till they are cooked well.
  • Then add the cut chicken pieces, fry them for about 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the ground masala , turmeric powder , garam masala powder, chicken masala. Then add the coriander leaves and salt.
  • Close the lid, and now reduce the flame and the chicken is cooked for about 25 min.
  • Keep stirring it with equal intervals.
