Gravy Chicken Recipes

METHI CHICKEN

Boneless chicken 1/2 lb
Kasuri methi 2 tsp (dry)
Onion 3 medium
Garlic paste 1 tsp
Ginger paste 1 tsp
Tomato 2
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Coriander powder 3 tsp
Chili powder 2 tsp
Garam masala 1 tsp (curry powder)
Oil 1/4 cup
Butter 2 tbsp
Salt
  • Clean and cut chicken into medium pieces.
  • Pressure cook chicken adding ginger garlic paste, turmeric pdr and salt. Keep it aside.
  • Grind onion to a smooth paste and chop the tomatoes.
  • In a heavy bottom pan heat oil, fry cumin and kasuri methi for 30 sec and add
    grounded onion paste and saute till the oil shows separately.
  • Add all powders to it and saute for few seconds. Then add chopped tomatoes and cook till it becomes soft.
  • Pour the cooked chicken in the masala add salt and cook till the gravy becomes thick.

    Finally put the butter on top and cook for 3-5 mins.
