Pakkad
Pakkad is a Hindu name for tongs. Pakkad are used in every kitchen.
The main purpose of pakkads is to lift pots without handles. Whether
it is overseas or in the USA, there is not a home that doesn’t
have a pair or two. They are used for many things such as:

• Hot utensils
• Pots with no handles

These Pakkad’s are so popular because they can be used for
many purposes. In all restaurants they have them on salad bars
because you cannot use your hands to pickup anything to do with
food when it is served buffet style. Due to the health codes you
have to use these for everything to do in a public setting. They
are very handy at home to use to pick up many different items
such as french fries, rolls, breads, and fried chicken. Anything
you can think of to use them for you can. There are hundreds of
uses so maybe you should get 5 or 10 of them.
