Chives

Native to Asia, chives are the smallest species of the onion family that comes from the reed-like stems of a bulbous lily plant, commonly found in seasoning blending of fine herbs.

Although, the most popular varieties of chives are cultivated in China and California, they are one of the common herbs found in the Indian cuisine, especially in the northeast region including:
