Native to India, southern Asia, South America and the Caribbean,
turmeric is usually found as powder. This spice is similar to
ginger, but inexpensive and with an intense color ranging from
deep yellow to orange.
Turmeric is prepared boiling the root first, then dried and pulverized.
This spice combines with almost any meat or vegetable dish. In
