PALAK MUTTON

Mutton 1 lb
Spinach 3 bunch
Ginger paste 1 tsp
Garlic paste 1 tsp
Tomato 2
Coriander Powder 1 tsp
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Black pepper corns 5
Onion 1
Coriander leaves
Oil
Salt
  • Heat the pressure pan with the oil and add black pepper and small amount of chopped onion, fry for a few seconds.
  • Wash meat cleanly and add to the pan. Stir for a minute.
  • Now add salt and enough water.Close the pressure pan and allow the meat to cook till soft.
  • Once meat is cooked, drain little water and keep aside.
  • In another Pan, Heat oil add the remaining chopped onions and fry till light brown.
  • Add salt, coriander powder, chili powder, ginger, garlic paste, and chopped coriander leaves.
  • Fry this mix thoroughly till oil leaves the sides of the pan.
  • Add chopped tomatoes and finely cut spinach and add the cooked meat.
  • Cook till tomatoes and Spinach is done and the water is dried up.
  • If necessary, add more water to get a gravy.
  • Simmer for a while and garnish with chopped coriander.
  • Serve hot with plain rice.
