2 lbs. round steak 3 Tbsp. canola (or other vegetable) oil 1 c. flour 1 small onion, diced 4 ripe tomatoes, diced 2 green bell peppers, chopped 1 clove garlic, minced Salt and pepper, to taste Preheat oven to 325 degrees fahrenheit. Pound flour into the steak, then season with salt and pepper. Brown on both sides in very hot oil. Add remaining ingredients plus 2 c. hot water. Cover and bake for about 2 hours or until tender.
