5 onions, chopped 2 bell peppers, chopped 12 small tomatoes, chopped 3/4 c. jalapeno peppers, chopped 1 c. sugar 1 c. cider vinegar 1 c. canola (or other vegetable) oil 1 c. water 4 Tbsp. salt 4 Tbsp. black pepper Combine all ingredients in a large pot, and simmer for 3 hours. Pour into hot clean jars and seal tightly with lids. Process in hot water bath for 10 mins. Place jars on towel to cool slowly. If a more fine-textured sauce is desired, process ingredients in a blender.
