Serve this over chiles rellenos. 2 Tbsp. oil 1 Tbsp. flour 1/4 c. chopped onion Salt Pepper 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce 1 bay leaf 1/2 c. tomato juice 1 garlic clove, mashed Heat oil in a saucepan and brown flour in it lightly. Add onion, salt and pepper and stir for 1 minute. Add tomato sauce, bay leaf and tomato juice. Cook until sauce thickens. Remove bay leaf.
