Chutney & Pickle Recipes

LIME PICKLE

Fresh lime 6
Red chili powder 4 tsp
Asafoetida 1/4 tsp
Mustard seed 1 tsp
Fenugreek seeds 1 tsp
Sesame oil 1/4 cup
Salt
  • Wash and clean the lime and then cut into medium pieces.
  • Add salt, red chilipowder, asafoetida and oil mix well and keep it aside for 24 hrs.
  • Heat the pan with oil and fry mustard seed, fenugreek seeds and this lime mix.
  • When the oil separates remove the pan from heat.
  • Store in refrigerator.
