Whisks

Whisks have been used for many years in incorporating different ingredients together in a recipe. The following are some of the many types of whisks you can find in many kitchens.

• Coil
• Flat pan
• Churn beaters
• Handled egg beaters
• Birch whisks
• Wood and plastic whisks
• Silicone coated whisks
• Ball whisks
• Sauce
• Balloon

Whisks are used to aerate foods while beating them. These, as you can see, come in many different types and have a certain use for each one. The whisk makes mixing ingredients easier than just using a spoon or spatula. The wires let the ingredients slide through, making them mix together better. Some whisks have more wires than others making these known as piano whisks.
