CURD RICE (yogurt rice)

Rice 1 cup
Sour Curd 1 cup
Milk 1/4 cup
Salt 1/2 tsp
Oil 3tsp
Urud dal 1/4 tsp
Green chilly 3 to 5
Mustard seed 1/4 tsp
Curry leaves
Ginger 1 inch
  • Cut green chilli and ginger into very small pieces.
  • Cook rice in a pressure cooker and keep it aside.
  • Pour sour curd, milk, salt to the rice and mix well.
  • Heat 3 tsp of oil and fry mustard seeds, urud dal, chopped chili, ginger and curry leaves.
  • Add this to the curd rice and mix well.
  • Mix chopped mango to add taste.
  • Serve with any kind of pickle.
