Recipe for cooking noodle and cheese casserole

12 oz. fresh lasagna noodles
1 lb. farmer cheese
1 c. dairy sour cream
4 egg yolks
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 Tbsp. butter or butter-replacement
1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
1 Tbsp. butter or butter-replacement
Cut lasagna noodles into diamond shapes, about 1 in. wide. Cook noodles in 3 quarts boiling water until tender, about 3 mins.; drain.
Mix cheese, sour cream, egg yolks, salt and pepper in large bowl; gently stir in cooked noodles.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees fahrenheit. Grease 2-quart shallow casserole with 2 Tbsp. butter; sprinkle and distribute with bread crumbs. Pour noodle mixture into casserole; dot with 1 Tbsp. butter. Bake uncovered or without a lid until hot, 25 to 1/2 an hour.
Yields 6 servings.
