Recipe for cooking lemon bread

1 c. sugar 6 Tbsp. butter 2 eggs 1/2 c. milk 1 1/2 (one and one-half) c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder Rind of 1 lemon Pin. of salt Mix all ingredients together. Put into loaf pan. Bake at 375 degrees fahrenheit for 1 hour or until done. Drizzle glaze made of juice of 1 lemon and 1/3 c. sugar over hot bread.
