CREAM OF SPINACH SOUP

Spinach 1 lb
Onion 1
All purpose flour 2 tsp (maida)
Garlic paste 1 tsp
Cumin seed 1/2 tsp
Mustard seed 1/2 tsp
Urad dal 1/2 tsp
Red chili 1
Oil 2 tsp
Milk 1/2 cup(cream 1/4 cup)
Salt
  • Wash and clean the spinach and cook the spinach until it tender.
  • Then blend it with little onion and garlic paste and set aside.
  • Heat the pan with oil and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, urad dal, red chiliand fry, now add the chopped onion and fry well until it becomes golden brown.
  • Then add the all purpose flour and fry and add the blended mixture and bring to boil in a low heat.
  • Now add salt and milk and mix well.
