- Poornam(stuffing)
:Boil gram-dal until half-cooked and drain the water.
- Add
jaggery, grated coconut, cardamom and grind.
- Make
it thick by heating and stirring in low heat for 3 min.Make
this into round balls.
- Soak
rice and urud dal in water for 2 hrs.
- Then
grind into a very nice paste.
- Make
even balls with poornam and roll it on this paste and deep fry in boiling oil.
