AVAL KESARI

Rice flakes 1 cup
Sugar 1 cup
Water 1/2 cup
Ghee or Melted butter 1/4 cup
Cardamom 5
Cashew nuts 10
Kesari powder a pinch
  • Roast the cashews in 2 tbsp of ghee until it becomes golden brown.
  • Roast the rice flakes slightly in the ghee, add 1/2 cup of boiling water to the rice flakes and cook until it is fully cooked.
  • Add sugar, kesari powder, roasted cashews, powdered cardamom to the rice flakes.
  • Stir in the low heat until it becomes a non sticky paste.
