Vegetarian Curry Recipes

GREEN PEPPER MASALA

Green pepper 1 pound
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Fenugreek seeds 1 tsp
Onion 3 (medium)
Tomato 2
Green chili 4
Red chili powder 1/2 tsp
Cinnamon 1 inch
Cloves 4
Garam masala 1 tsp (curry powder)
Salt
Oil
  • Grind the onion, tomato, green chili, garam masala, cinnamon, cloves, chili powder into fine paste with adding little water. Keep it aside.
  • Cut the capsicum into big pieces (1 inch).
  • Heat the pan with oil and add capsicum pieces and salt. Fry for 5 min.
  • Heat another pan with the oil and add cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds and the ground paste, cook until the aroma comes out.
  • Now add the fried capsicum and cook until the capsicum is cooked.
  • Garnish with the chopped coriander leaves and slit green chilies.
