Vegetarian Curry Recipes

GREEN PEPPER DAL

Green pepper 2 large
Tomato 3 medium
Moong Dal 5 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
Red chili 2
Asafoetida a pinch
Curry leaves
Salt
Oil
  • Cut green pepper into small pieces.
  • Heat the pan with oil and add green pepper and fry until it becomes soft.
  • Wash the dal and put dal, fried green pepper and chopped tomato in the pressure cooker and let it cook until it becomes smooth.
  • Take a Pan and heat oil and fry mustard seeds, cumin seeds, red chili, curry leaves, fry for a min, then add cooked dal with tomato and pepper.
  • Now add asafoetida, turmeric powder, salt and mix well.
  • Let it cook for 2 min in a low heat.
