ALU MASIAL (Mashed POTATO curry)


Potato 5
Red chilies 3
Coriander 2 tsp
Channa dal 2 tsp
Grated coconut 1 cup
Coriander leaves chopped
Salt
Oil
  • Boil the potaotes and remove the skin and smash well and keep it aside.
  • Heat the pan with the oil and add coriander seeds, channa dal, red chilies and fry until it becomes golden brown.
  • Now grind these fried ingredients with the grated coconut with adding little water.
  • Heat another pan, add the ground ingredients and add mashed potato,mix well.
  • Add salt and let it boil for few minutes.
  • Garnish with the chopped coriander leaves.
